About The Red Flags...
The Red Flags are based around the inspired and original muse of songwriter Keith Mouland.  The songs are (very loosely) in the vein of alt. country / Americana, and deal with pretty much every theme under the sun - all of human experience is in there somewhere...  The Red Flags are about bringing these stripped-down acoustic pictures to life.

K.C. (Harry) O'Shea
Harry has been playing bass for more years than he cares to remember, in more bands than he CAN remember.  He has finally found his spiritual home in The Red Flags, providing a nice fat upright cushion for Keith's inspired songwriting.
Harry's not as gobby as Keith, and so requires less space for his biog.

Keith Mouland
Hi folks, here's a little musical history story.
Took early excursion as a kid, late sixties, early seventies with a couple of blues/rock bands, fell in love with it all, started a journey into collaborations, communal living, mansion with music room, festivals, driving musos and their gear around in Morris Minor Traveller, bars, folk clubs, covers bands, listening to a lot of music, saw a lot of bands, jams, blues jams, kept an open mind, kept listening.
Got lost in the eighties, did a lot of house painting, had my first song published, had it covered by a girl band.
Found it again, early nineties, wrote a lot of songs, drew on musical sponge influences, diverse, too many to mention, mainly rootsy stuff with it's feet in blues, folk, honky-tonk and heartsong country, psychedelic rock and a good helping of songwriter muse.  Started to really dig the blossoming alternative country scene with its honesty and feel.  Wrote a lot of songs, recorded an ambient, psychedelic, alt. country album
Calaboose (still on hold), got a publishing deal, had a reggae song published, recorded a couple of rootsy country albums 1st Installment and A to B, plus a compilation from these two The Selection (Silver Records).  Recorded acoustic duo album with Paul Godden Walking The Hills, found a home on Folkwit Records.
Met Harry, recorded
Hundreds Of Sunshine in his front room, became The Red Flags, wrote a lot of songs, fell in love with it all, watch this space.
Keith.

Paul Godden
Paul's musical career started in Bristol playing in various string bands around the Folk/Blues circuit, starting on Bottleneck and regular guitar and then onto Dobro. mandolin and steel guitar. Paul has appeared and recorded with a very diverse range of people from blues legends Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee to Rockabilly legends Narvel Felts and Curtis Gordon to name but a few. He also features on Van Morrison's recent album You Win Again and latest album Pay The Devil playing steel guitar/lap steel / weissenborn.
Paul recorded
Walking The Hills (Folkwit Records, 2005) with Keith Mouland, and now, when not touring with Van Morrison (the 'day job') performs as a regular guest with The Red Flags.
